you bring the snacks,
i'll bring the confetti
my heart torn to tiny shreds
your whites, pinks and reds
falling all over the floor
we'll throw away our hopes for anything more

do i look godly tonight?
my blood is chilled in glasses

frost has filled my veins
crystalline window panes
look between to see the dark
the absence beneath the visible ark
